But let me tell you where this all really began…

I didn’t set out to write books about balance and bold living. I was simply living my life—raising a family, building a career, doing all the things we’re told to do. Then one day, I realized I had entered a new season.

I also witnessed my parents aging, and the heartbreak that came with watching them lose their independence little by little. That’s when something shifted in me. I decided I wouldn’t wait for life to shrink me. I’d learn. I’d move. I’d strengthen. I’d write. And I’d share everything I learned with others who didn’t want to just “grow old”—they wanted to grow bold.

That led me to create The Balance Game & Journal—a heartfelt, practical guide filled with simple exercises, gentle mindset shifts, and journaling prompts that help restore both physical steadiness and emotional clarity. It’s not just about not falling, it’s about standing tall, living freely, and refusing to let fear write your story.

But I didn’t stop there. My deep love for animals and my sense of wanderlust sparked a new mission: to help older adults travel affordably and meaningfully through pet sitting. That’s where The PetSit & Travel Guide began—a joyful roadmap for people who long to explore new places, connect with communities, and care for pets while discovering the world.

My work is grounded in the belief that aging can be a launchpad, not a limitation.
