But let me tell you where this all really began…

I didn’t set out to write books about balance and bold living. I was simply living my life raising a family, building a career, doing all the things we’re told to do. Then one day, I realized I had entered a new season.

I began to notice the subtle changes in my body slight instability when I stood up too quickly, a slower pace, a bit of hesitation where there used to be confidence.

I also witnessed my parents aging, and the heartbreak that came with watching them lose their independence little by little. That’s when something shifted in me. I decided I wouldn’t wait for life to shrink me. I’d learn. I’d move. I’d strengthen. I’d write. And I’d share everything I learned with others who didn’t want to just “grow old” they wanted to grow bold.

That’s why I wrote Balance for Seniors: How to Avoid Falls That Can Kill You or Worse a clear, compassionate guide to regaining strength, confidence, and independence.

To make the journey even more practical and personal, I later created The Balance Game & Journal a heartfelt companion filled with simple exercises, gentle mindset shifts, and journaling prompts that restore both physical steadiness and emotional clarity.

Because balance isn’t just about not falling. It’s about standing tall, living freely, and most importantly refusing to let fear write your story.
